Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines how Genie Prints Pvt Ltd handles cancellations and refunds for orders placed through Chhapai Lab.
1. Cancellation Before Production
You may cancel an order before it enters production for a full refund. Once production has begun on a made-to-order or personalised product, cancellation is not possible as materials and labour have been committed.
2. Pre-Orders
Pre-order deposits reserve your product. The deposit is refundable until the launch date, after which it becomes non-refundable. The balance is due on or before the launch date as communicated at checkout.
3. Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect or an error caused by us, we will replace it or issue a full refund. Please report such issues within 7 days of delivery with photographs.
4. Customer-Supplied Artwork Errors
We are not liable for defects arising from incorrect, low-resolution or improperly formatted artwork supplied by the customer. No refund is available in such cases.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. Dynamic QR subscription fees are non-refundable once the code has been minted and provisioned.
6. Dynamic QR Subscriptions
Annual Dynamic QR subscriptions remain active until expiry. They are non-refundable mid-term, but a customer may reuse an active subscription code on additional products at no extra charge.
